I’m sure you’ve received at least two coronavirus related sms messages today. The alerts (one woke me up during my afternoon cat nap) link to pinellascounty.org website. On top of not being https secure. The OFFICIAL pinellas county EMS website is NOT Mobile Friendly. If this was my website I’d be embarrassed to link it to sms emergency alerts! 🙁 So I’m wondering how much Pinellas county taxpayers are paying for this garbage website? Friday night I received an emergency shelter in place SMS alert from Pinellas County FL emergency management. A few minutes later a robocall gave the same message. I’m thinking it must be a mistake after just watching the local news.
