When is the first egg to hatch?

    • https://www.fidosysop.org FidoSysop

Good question, not sure when she laid the eggs. The cam feed was down for a couple weeks and just showing pre-recorded highlights. Hopefully someone else can answer that question.

I am wondering where everyone is too. Apparently there aren’t moderators for this site.

So very happy to see there are still 3 little eaglets! I was so concerned a week or so ago that the “runt” so to speak, was not going to make it. Appeared barely able to lift it’s little head. doing MUCH better now. GO LITTLE EAGLETS!

    • Sharon Lee

I was so worried about the little one too! Thankfully they all seem to get along and no bullying. They are so precious and fun to watch!

  • Joanne Leigh Dean

All three seem very active and roaming about, I worry the nest edge isn’t very high.

    • Sharon Lee

That has always made me nervous too. :-(

Fraizer is not foggy anymore, the three eaglets are getting big along with these three. They made it okay through the earthquake.

Yes i noticed that yesterday. Pips are looking good too.

I saw that you are in Clearwater, I am in Belleair. So many triplet nests this year. We are not going to run out of eagles to watch.

Joanne, thanks for your participation. St. Petersburg born and raised. Times sure have changed in 66 years!

We also have an Eagles forum for discussions: https://www.fidosysop.org/forum/eagles/ Watching another nest elsewhere? I might be able to add it to our collection.

  • Joanne Leigh Dean

These three are trying to self fed. Still worry about how low the walls are at this nest.

  • Joanne Leigh Dean

I know of 2 more nest that have triplets—Tulsa and smoky mountain
