AdSense, why it’s probably not worth the aggravation of applying and jumping through Google’s approval process hoops.
Google is telling small quality publishers they are not welcome
Personally speaking the ads look tacky on websites to me and are a distraction when reading an article.
Plus it can take many months or even years to earn your 1st $100 needed to get paid.
Then Google scrutinizes the clicks and there is a good chance your AdSense account will be suspended.
Read many AdSense horror stories on groups and blogs. This publisher lost his $42,000 account balance . Poof one minute it’s there then BAM you’re gone!
But just for shits and giggles i decided to apply for a Google AdSense Account. Thinking if anything i might get a slightly better placement in the serps.
The initial approval was rather quick, less than 24 hours. I was instructed to add a code snippet to my blogs header file. Did that and was told Google would contact me within 3 days.
So on that 3rd day i received an email from Google. However upon opening that email i was told my site was turned down for the AdSense program.
The reason Google listed was my blog contained Adult content.
After applying for a Google AdSense account received this denial letter.
Thinking about that adult content thing, i remembered a blog post that was published when Madonna offered a BlowJob to anyone that could prove they voted for Hillary Clinton.
No kidding Madonna really did say that, then turned a guy down that tried to collect for his Hillary Clinton vote.
But that was an easy fix. Put the post in the trash along with a couple tags. Went to webmaster tools and removed that article and tags from search. Then went back to AdSense and reapplied.
After another 3 day wait i received another email from Google today. This time they denied my application because my site did not have enough content.
I know their bot has been crawling the hell out of this blog for days – but the not enough content claim is Absolute Google Bullshit!
This time we were turned down for AdSense because Google claimed we lacked sufficient content
Out of our 161 Articles a Good 85% are well over Yoast SEO recommended 300 minimum word count. But still not enough to be Approved for an AdSense account.
What Google is saying – We only want large website owners publishing our ads, but we love Macedonian FAKE NEWS publishers on Facebook!
This Macedonian teenage publisher outed by NBC News wouldn’t show his profile on Google AdSense, to protect five other teenagers who asked him not to reveal aspects of their shared fake news publishing interests.
Click bait ad farms shared to Facebook groups
However, he does show a digital receipt from Google showing he earned more than $8,000 from AdSense in September. He says this was just one of several advertising accounts, and claims his most successful streak in the run-up to the election, saw him rake in $27,000 in just one month.
So think about this scenario before wasting your time applying for an AdSense account. In my personal opinion It’s not worth the aggravation!
