Wonder whats going on with the Facebook Killer www.unthink.com?

After a long wait I finally received my invite code yesterday morning, and like a little kid at Christmas i couldn’t wait to sign up. But i couldn’t connect to the site after trying most of yesterday. No error message, just the server timed out waiting to connect.

I tried it several times today and still couldn’t get on. Now i just got a Site Overloaded plain text message in my browser.

It must be the server resources are unable to handle the number of people trying to register. I can just imagine how many folks have been waiting for their invite code, I have been waiting a couple months or so for mine.

But regardless i would think the Unthink Folks would expect the mad rush and made arrangements to have enough capacity to handle the traffic. Been there and done that myself..

I’m sure most of us are used to getting overloaded messages from Twitter as it always seems to be over capacity.

But this new Social Revolution that promises to be the Facebook Killer seems to have crashed on it’s 1st opening day! That’s not a good sign for sure!

Oh well i guess i will just have to wait until the mad rush to register for unthink.com is over.

Have you been able to complete your registration and explore the site??

Thats exactly the case, In email, I am said, to go to sign up again, then when I put email I got code for, I cant proceed, cause it says email is already in use, if I try login, it says one of those information are incorrect (I grabbed them in the first place with lastpass, so not true either). If I take a new mail to sign-up and asked to put promotion code, it seems, that min is not valid for any other email.
So how a company that does not even manage to code a working login, will compete again a 100 billion dollar company???
In Internet-Business you have exactly one shot per idea!

Same here, its dead in the water for new users.

I have two invite codes for two email addresses and it won’t take either one no matter what password I use.

When I say I forgot my password it never sends me one.

I just tried to go back an update my Unthink.com page. Couldn’t get back in! The system kept saying my email address or password was incorrect. I wrote it down when i registered.

Meanwhile it appears Facebook is blocking a link to a unthink article. There is a company called LiveWorld.com that contracts with facebook to do their moderation. I’m betting if there is any blocking going on, they are the ones behind it.
